Tiffany Twisted's musical influence started early at the age of 9 with her mother, who played violin, encouraging her to learn the piano so she could accompany her at church and weddings. In 5th grade, she chose percussion as her instrument of choice because "Tiffany on the Timpanis" had a good ring to it. Around the same time, she had joined the Decorah Kilties Drum and Bugle Corps, playing in the Front Line Melodic Percussion Ensemble, gaining experience playing mallet keyboard instruments in front of large crowds and putting in many grueling hours of practice in the hot sun.
In 7th grade, she began learning the drum set, and at 14, she traded her mallets for drumsticks as she joined her first gigging rock-and-roll band, Bad Influence. Bad Influence consisted of CharlieMeyer on bass, Liz on keys, and Billy on guitar. Tiff and Liz went on to form the all-girl band Cream Soda with Kayla Koether on guitar and Liz on bass.
Life, college, and careers changed for Tiffany Twisted, but she always made time for bands and gigs. When she moved to North Liberty, she joined Blue Scratch, Mötorboat, and 50 Shades of Rock. After moving to LaCrosse, she kept making the drive back to the Quad Cities for shows and practice with Jim, Jeff, and Mitch of 50 Shades of Rock until 2018, when she moved back to Decorah and started Freeport Social Club with Mark Stumme, Jayne and Paul Jensen, Joe Baldridge, and Coty Moir.
Then, in 2019, for the second time in history, CharlieMeyer called Tiffany Twisted to start a band. And so Bad Dog 20/20 was born.
