Music has been in Willy J's blood since the time he was born. His grandfather played in Big Bands back in the 1940's. When Willy J. turned 10, he received a brand-new saxophone from his grandfather for his birthday. The game was on.
From 5th grade through high school, music was his center of life. From jazz bands and pep bands to orchestras and even drum and bugle corps.
After getting out of the Marine Corps, Willy J. founded a Christian rock band. They toured around the Midwest for 9 years.
After picking up the bass guitar 39 years ago, this was his instrument of choice.
Today, he is a thrilled member of Bad Dog 20/20. His love for great music, great musicians, and great friends has been found.
